The Fett Real Estate Team is a full-service real estate team based at RE/MAX Real Estate Center in Ames. The team is currently made up of a relatively small crew of highly motivated and high-producing individuals with specialization in residential real estate sales, property management, and investment properties.
The Marketing Coordinator/Buyer Specialist Trainee will immediately fill the role of building out the team’s marketing systems. The goal will be to split duties over time and transition to a full-time sales associate.
Job Outline for Year One:
Phase One – Review Current Marketing Plan and improve and build out a system of consistent, simplistic marketing.
Phase Two – Obtain Real Estate Salesperson License
Phase Three – Shift more work time towards sales
Phase Four – ¾ of job is sales and ¼ of job is marketing
Required Qualifications:
Valid Driver’s license with proof of car insurance
Ability to obtain an Iowa Real Estate Salesperson License
Working smartphone
Willingness to work hard, have fun, and get stuff done
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, entrepreneurship, or related field OR working towards degree
Google Workspace and Google Drive
Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent professional speaking and writing skills
Content marketing (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or related platforms)
Social media marketing
Client Relations Management (CRM) Systems
Customer Service
Compensation:
Internship: $15/hour starting with an opportunity to make more
